Care and repairs
Wool looked after properly outlasts its owner. Here is how, and what to do when something needs mending.
Knitwear
Air it between wears and wash it rarely, by hand or on a wool cycle, in cool water. Dry flat. Fold; never hang.
Coats and tailoring
Brush after wear, hang on a shaped hanger and dry clean once a season at most. Steam removes creases better than an iron.
Shirts and jersey
Machine wash at 30 and line dry. Iron shirts while still damp.
