Inside the Leeds workroom where our jackets are cut

Our tailoring is made on the second floor of a former cloth warehouse off Kirkgate. Fourteen people work there, and between them they have more than three hundred years at the bench.

A jacket takes about nine hours. Most of that is hand work you will never see: the canvas that shapes the chest, the stitches that let a collar roll.

Why Leeds

Because the mills are forty minutes away and the people who know how to tailor wool are still here. We would rather pay for skill than for freight.
